Congratulations to Anam Chaudhry (Grade 7) and her documentary on the “Muhammad Ali Jinnah: Lahore Resolution”, and Grade 8 group members Calla Spallino, Jerry Flaspoller, Dustin Labat, Esther Lee and Catherine Salgado for their performance of “McDonald’s Impact on Child Nutrition.”
These students have qualified for the National Contest of National History Day. The national competition will be conducted in Washington, D.C., during the month of June.
In addition, Grade 8 student Cain Watson was awarded a $100 special price from the Naval & Maritime Historical Society for his outstanding website on pirate Jean Lafitte.
