We are very proud of these young people and can’t wait to see how they do in the State NHD competition. Hopefully, in two weeks, I’ll have more great news to share about those who advance to the National NHD competition.
One final note: If you’re interested in judging the state competition, here’s your contact: Collin Makamson – Collin.Makamson@nationalww2museum.org. He is the Student Programs Director. Send him a message and he’ll give you the details. I’ll be there! I like to judge the Senior (9-12) Division papers or websites. Free eats, drinks, and one year membership to the WWII Museum is what they offer for “compensation.” I’d do it for free…very rewarding.
